- I play sax with hard rock, blues and soul as my favorite music-performance genres
- I design illuminated water fountain jets
- I am restoring a road-legal microcar with a 2 cylinder engine and a front door that opens like a refrigerator
- I’ve coached wrestling in Colorado, Idaho and New Jersey and helped develop a small number of state champions
- I am a technical scuba diver who enjoys diving in dark and cold places, almost as much as playing with seals and sea lions
